Meditations on Autumn

As we gracefully transition through the Autumnal Equinox, I'm inspired to delve deeper into the profound lessons nature bestows upon us during this season. Have you ever gazed skyward during these golden days and marveled at the sight of birds embarking on their migratory journeys? It's a breathtaking display of instinct and trust—these winged beings, guided by a path deeply embedded in their DNA, ensure the survival and prosperity of future generations. They remind us that migrations occur not out of randomness but for the preservation of a species.

This season of change prompts us to explore our own inner guidance—the messages intricately encoded within our human DNA. In times long past, our ancestors celebrated the harvest, knowing that the stores they amassed would sustain them through the harsh winter months. While many of us now enjoy the convenience of year-round food availability, we might wonder if we're still hoarding like our very lives depend on it.

I'll admit my own guilt in stockpiling food, preparing excessive meals that result in discarded leftovers, and feeling the weight of wastefulness. Is this learned behavior passed down through generations, or is it an innate genetic inclination that whispers, "Scarcity equals peril"?

So, let's take a step back and assume the role of the observer. What if we acknowledged the resilience of our ancestors who endured hardships during times of scarcity? What if we celebrated the ancient wisdom woven into our DNA, compelling us to persist even when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges? Consider migratory birds—do they lament their ancestors as they navigate through storms and obstacles, or do they simply follow their instincts, answering the call to journey onward?

I propose that we follow their lead. Each of us possesses an internal guidance system, a map intricately woven into our DNA. When we quiet the distractions and truly listen, we can discern the ancient call.

My certainty in this truth remains unwavering. There have been countless moments when I've longed to surrender to life's trials, to lay down in the middle of the road and declare, "I've had enough. There's nothing more to give." Yet, an inner force guides me to rise, to shed the cloak of self-pity, and to forge ahead. It is encoded in my DNA to persist.

You may have heard me emphasize this message over the years, but it's a truth that bears repeating: Meditate. Yes, it truly is that simple. Meditation serves as your bridge to inner silence, a sacred space where guidance resides. Whether you embark on a serene walk, embrace a guided meditation, or immerse yourself in the soothing resonance of singing bowls, meditation leads you to the voice within.

Now, let's delve into some practical meditation tips and advice:

Create a Sacred Space: Dedicate a peaceful corner of your home or a spot in nature where you can meditate regularly. Fill it with items that inspire tranquility and connection. Light a candle or incense, add a few crystals or stones, and use it only for meditation.

Set Intentions: Before each meditation session, set a clear intention. What guidance or insights are you seeking? Be open to receiving whatever arises.

Breathing Awareness: Focus on your breath as you meditate. Pay attention to the inhale and exhale. If your mind wanders, gently bring your focus back to your breath. Take a deep inhale and hold for 5 seconds, exhale and hold for 5 seconds. Create a box pattern with your breath. It signals to your body that you are safe and it will reset your vagus nerve.

Guided Meditations: Explore guided meditations that resonate with you. These can provide structure and guidance, especially if you're new to meditation. Sometimes the busy mind needs a guide and I am happy to be yours, use this link for my guided meditation. This meditation will offer you a more profound exploration of the transformative practice of meditation and its role in unlocking your inner wisdom.

Journaling Prompt: Keep a meditation journal to record your experiences, insights, and any messages you receive during your practice.  I have everything I need now.

If you find yourself inspired and eager to delve further into your inner guidance, I extend a heartfelt invitation to schedule an intuitive reading with me or experience the profound healing energy of Reiki. These sessions offer powerful opportunities to deepen your connection with your spiritual journey.

As we embrace the wisdom of autumn, honoring the ancient messages woven into our DNA, remember this: We are all divinely guided. Meditation is your key to unlock your well of inner knowledge and intuition, your unwavering compass through life's challenges. Trust in the ancient wisdom residing within your very being.

Forgiveness, Compassion and Healing with Goddess Kwan Yin

I hope this message finds you well and bathed in the gentle, nurturing light of the universe. As an intuitive medium and your guide on this spiritual journey, I am excited to share with you the exquisite energy of Goddess Kwan Yin. Her presence is like a soothing balm for the soul, offering boundless love and understanding, especially when we yearn for the gentle embrace of our inner child.

In the past couple of weeks, the planetary cycles have caused a multitude of emotions and I have been reminded that we are all trying, in the words of Prince, “to get through this thing called life.” The emotional and energetic challenges we are all experiencing need the kind and gentle energy of Goddess Kwan Yin. She is the heart that can hear all of our sorrows and hold them for us while we practice self-care.

I have studied Kwan Yin for many years and I call upon her often. If you research her history you will see her name spelled Kuan Yin, Guanyin, and Kwan Yin, but for purposes of simplicity I will use Kwan Yin.

Kwan Yin's History: A Journey through Time

Ancient Roots of Kwan Yin

The roots of Kwan Yin's lore trace back to ancient Chinese and Buddhist traditions. Originally, she was known as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit, the male bodhisattva of compassion. However, as Buddhist teachings traveled to China and merged with indigenous beliefs, Avalokiteshvara transformed into the compassionate and nurturing goddess we know today as Kwan Yin.

The Evolution of Kwan Yin

One of the remarkable aspects of Kwan Yin's evolution is her ability to adapt and resonate with various cultures and belief systems. Over centuries, she transcended the boundaries of Buddhism to become a figure embraced by Taoism, Confucianism, and other spiritual practices across Asia.

Kwan Yin's image shifted from male to female, embodying both the divine feminine and masculine aspects of compassion. This transformation reflects her inclusive and universal nature, reminding us that compassion knows no gender or boundaries.

Kwan Yin's Compassionate Embrace

Begin your journey by creating a sacred space within your home. It doesn't have to be elaborate; even a small corner or a special altar will suffice. Adorn it with green crystals like aventurine, jade, or bloodstone. Fresh pearls or mother of pearl are also wonderful for evoking Kwan Yin.

Before you connect with Kwan Yin, take a moment to set your intentions. What do you seek from this connection? Is it healing, inner child nurturing, forgiveness, or simply a sense of peace? Be clear in your intentions, as this will guide your interaction with her compassionate energy.

Contemplative Meditation with Kwan Yin

To invoke Kwan Yin's loving presence, begin with a contemplative meditation. Find a quiet and peaceful space where you can sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes and take several deep, cleansing breaths. Visualize a soft, radiant light surrounding you, wrapping you in warmth and love.

As you breathe in, imagine this light entering your heart, filling it with love and compassion. Feel any emotional wounds or burdens gently melting away in the presence of this divine light. Imagine Kwan Yin herself standing before you, extending her loving arms and inviting you into her embrace. Allow yourself to be fully enveloped by her compassionate energy.

Inner Child Healing with Kwan Yin

Clients come to me often with anxieties, worries, and other dis-ease. Many times, there’s a wounded inner child that needs attention from their adult selves to heal. Kwan Yin's energy is particularly potent in healing our inner child. Imagine your inner child as a separate, vulnerable aspect of yourself. In your mind’s eye, see yourself as a child, and with Kwan Yin's guidance, offer your inner child what they need. Is it love, comfort, understanding, or simply a hug? Embrace this inner child within you, reassuring them that they are safe and loved.

Forgiveness and Letting Go with Kwan Yin

Kwan Yin is also a symbol of forgiveness and grace. If there are past hurts or grievances that weigh on your heart, consider this an opportunity to release them. In the presence of Kwan Yin's compassion, offer forgiveness to yourself and to others. Allow any resentments or grudges to dissolve, making room for healing and love.

Gratitude and Connection with Kwan Yin

After your meditation, take a moment to express gratitude to Goddess Kwan Yin for her loving presence and the healing she has brought into your life. Feel a deep sense of connection with her, knowing that she is ever-present, ready to nurture and guide you on your spiritual journey.

As we reflect on the history of Goddess Kwan Yin, we are reminded of her timeless and boundless compassion. Her journey from ancient roots to contemporary relevance underscores the universality of love and the capacity for transformation within us all.

May you carry with you the wisdom of Kwan Yin's history as you embark on your personal journey of connection, healing, and inner child nurturing in her loving presence.

With love and light,

Kim Isherwood

Embracing the Hearth: Nurturing Your Soul with Goddess Hestia

Hello Magical Friends,

As an intuitive medium deeply attuned to the ebb and flow of natural rhythms, I find myself profoundly affected by the changing seasons and the mesmerizing cycles of the moon. The Supermoon earlier this month stirred a whirlwind of emotions within me, reminding me of the potent energy that surrounds us. And now, as we stand on the threshold of Fall during the new moon, I'm drawn to the nurturing embrace of Goddess Hestia.

Honoring the Rhythms of Fall

Fall carries with it a unique rhythm—a season of harvest, reflection, and preparation. The Earth sheds its vibrant green cloak, revealing a tapestry of warm hues. It's a time of gathering the fruits of our labor and preparing for the quieter months ahead. Hestia's wisdom aligns beautifully with these natural rhythms. Just as we gather the harvest from our gardens, we can also gather the experiences, lessons, and wisdom from the seasons of our lives.

As we welcome Fall, let's delve deeper into Hestia's teachings and how they can soothe our souls, especially in the wake of powerful lunar events.

The Hearth as a Sacred Space

In ancient Greece, every household had a hearth, a place where the family gathered for warmth, sustenance, and connection. This hearth was more than just a physical source of heat; it was a sacred space: the heart of the home, and Hestia was its guardian. Hestia was one of the original twelve Olympians and she was known for her purity and innocence. She represented hospitality, fertility, and security, and is often represented by the eternal flame.

Hestia teaches us that the mundane can be sacred. The act of preparing a meal, lighting a candle, or simply sitting by the hearth can be a profound spiritual experience when performed with intention and mindfulness. In a time when social media can make us feel like we have to have everything perfect, Hestia would say otherwise. Simplicity is the magic of life and we must celebrate the beauty that surrounds us.

Five easy ways to embody Hestia in Your Life

Create a Sacred Space: Create an altar or designate a corner of your home as a sacred space, even if it's just a small table or a cozy chair. Use it for quiet contemplation, meditation, or enjoying a cup of tea. This space becomes your personal hearth, a sanctuary that provides space for you to find peace and tranquility.

Nurture Your Inner Flame: Hestia's flame isn't just the fire that warms our homes; it's the eternal spark within each of us. She teaches us to tend to our inner hearth, to nurture our souls with love and self-compassion.

As we transition into Fall, consider what nourishes your inner flame. Is it the warmth of a cozy blanket, the taste of a favorite comfort food, or the beauty of falling leaves? Embrace these moments as offerings to your inner Hestia, feeding your soul's fire.

Practice Gratitude: Create a gratitude journal and jot down the things you're thankful for each day. Reflect on the abundance in your life, much like the harvest that comes with Fall.

Host Gatherings: Hestia's hearth was a gathering place, where family and friends came together to share stories and nourish their bodies and souls. She embodies the spirit of hospitality and connection. Embrace Hestia's hospitality by hosting gatherings in your home. These need not be extravagant; simple potluck dinners, game nights, or even tea parties can foster connection and create lasting memories. Be sure to welcome someone new, extend the energy of hospitality and open your life to new friendships and connections.

Practice Mindfulness: Incorporate mindfulness practices into your daily routine, such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, or mindful walking. Be present during the simple activities of daily living. When you are mopping the floor, be aware that you are clearing away old energy and creating a clean slate for magic to appear. Clear away distractions and give your mind a chance to reset without all of the digital noise. These practices help you stay present and fully engaged in the moments of your life, much like Hestia's unwavering presence by the hearth.

As an intuitive medium deeply connected to the seasons and lunar cycles, I encourage you to welcome the wisdom of Goddess Hestia into your life. She reminds us that the sacred dwells within the ordinary, that our souls are eternal flames deserving of love and care, and that the changing seasons offer valuable lessons in reflection and growth.

I send you warm and cozy blessings and I hope that you will embrace some of the magic of Hestia. May the eternal flame of our connection burn long and bright.

Hugs,

Kim Isherwood

Goddess Athena, with her brilliance and strategic prowess, embodies the archetype of wisdom, courage, and intuition. In our journey of empowerment and intuitive exploration, we can draw inspiration from Athena's energy as we embrace and trust our inner wisdom.

Athena, the wise strategist, encourages us to approach challenges with intelligence and foresight. As we navigate our spiritual path, let us discern the best ways to share our intuitive gifts and connect with our authentic selves. We must take time to feel new ways of working with our intuition. Not every tool will feel right. Some may love tarot or crystals, and others may not resonate with them. We must approach all with discernment.

Embracing Athena as the Goddess of Art and Inspiration, we open ourselves to divine creative flow. Let our readings, writings, and teachings be infused with creativity, inspiring others on their own journeys of self-discovery. Express yourself wildly.

As the Protector and Guide, Athena reminds us to honor and protect our intuitive abilities. In doing so, we create a safe and sacred space for our followers, fostering trust and authenticity in our interactions. Create personal and energetic boundaries that allow our energy to remain strong and confident. When we don’t we can feel drained our set ourselves up for conflict or anxiety.

With the courage of the Warrior of Truth, let us speak our truths boldly and stay committed to our spiritual path. Our authentic expression will resonate with those who seek guidance and reassurance. Embrace the blue of the throat chakra as we are mindful of our words under the blue moon.

To connect with Athena's energy, we can create a sacred space and call upon her during meditation or prayer. As we embrace her wisdom, let us also invite the energy of the Super Blue Moon to illuminate our path and expand our intuitive gifts. Harness Athena’s wisdom at your altar for your full moon ritual tonight.

The crystals associated with Athena are perfect for this blue moon energy!

  • Clear Quartz: Known as the "master healer," clear quartz amplifies energy and enhances intuition. It can be used to connect with Athena's clarity and strategic mind.

  • Amethyst: This crystal is often associated with wisdom, intuition, and spiritual guidance. Amethyst can help you attune to Athena's insights and enhance your intuitive abilities.

  • Blue Lace Agate: Known for its calming and soothing properties, blue lace agate can aid in communication and expression, helping you connect with Athena's wisdom and articulate your insights effectively.

  • Sodalite: This crystal is linked to rational thinking, logic, and mental clarity, aligning well with Athena's Wise Strategist archetype.

On this rare and powerful Full Moon, we set our intentions to reach new heights of spiritual connection and growth. As we explore the depths of intuition and wisdom, may we remember the power that lies within us during this Super Blue Moon and every moment of our spiritual journey.

Thank you for being part of this magical experience. Let us continue to tap into our inner wisdom and intuition, illuminating the way for others to seek guidance and insight, too.

Hugs,

Kim

Lessons about Love from Aphrodite

Hello Magical Friends,

Most of us know about the gods and goddesses of myth — their powers, domains, and quarrels. By exploring the archetypes and goddesses, we can tap into their energies to guide our intuitive flow and embrace the love and beauty that resides within each of us.

Over the next few weeks, I am tapping into the Goddesses whose archetypes are relatable and relevant in our lives.

Goddess Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty, and pleasure, encapsulates the profound power of love within ourselves and the world around us. Aphrodite's presence is not just a tale from ancient mythology; her archetype is present within all of us, reminding us of the immense power of love. Love is not merely romantic; it's an all-encompassing force that can heal, nurture, and inspire us in every aspect of our lives.

Who is Aphrodite and how does her archetype show up in our lives?

The Lover: Aphrodite embodies the Lover archetype, representing a profound and passionate connection to love, sensuality, and pleasure. The Lover archetype invites us to explore the depths of our emotions and embrace our desires without fear or judgment. Through this archetype, we can celebrate love in all its forms and cultivate profound connections with ourselves and others.

The Goddess of Beauty: Aphrodite's beauty is more than skin-deep; it represents the divine beauty that dwells within us all. As we connect with the Goddess of Beauty archetype, we are reminded to see the radiance and uniqueness within ourselves and others. Embracing our inner beauty allows us to radiate love and positivity, uplifting those around us.

Self-Love and Empowerment: Aphrodite's energy reminds us of the importance of self-love and empowerment. We cannot fully give love to others if we don't love ourselves first. By embracing the Goddess of Love within, we learn to treat ourselves with compassion, forgiveness, and kindness. This act of self-nurturing empowers us to flourish in every aspect of our lives.

Nurturer and Healer:Aphrodite's nurturing and healing aspects are often overlooked. As the Goddess of Love, she holds space for others to find comfort and healing through love's transformative power. We, too, can embody this archetype by offering support and compassion to those in need, creating a safe haven of love and understanding.

Embracing Balance: Aphrodite's presence teaches us about the balance between feminine and masculine energies. Love is a harmonious dance between giving and receiving, passion and tenderness, strength and vulnerability. Embracing this balance allows us to experience the full spectrum of love's blessings.

Using Aphrodite's archetypes and goddess energy in our intuitive practice is an access point that allows us to:

  1. Embrace love in its purest and most profound forms.

  2. Cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves and others.

  3. Nourish our inner beauty and radiate love and positivity.

  4. Practice self-love and empowerment to achieve personal growth.

  5. Offer support and healing to those around us.

  6. Find balance in our relationships and experiences of love.

I invite you to join me in an intuitive meditation to connect with Goddess Aphrodite's essence. Find a quiet space, close your eyes, and allow her divine presence to wash over you. Feel the love and beauty within your heart as you bask in her loving energy.

If you have any questions or need support on your journey of embracing love and beauty within, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to be your guide and confidante, as we explore the depths of intuitive energy together.

Using Oracle Cards for Intuitive Guidance

Oracle cards are a powerful and versatile tool for tapping into our intuition, gaining insights, and receiving guidance from the universe. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of using various decks, but there's one that holds a special place in my heart and has become my most trusted companion – the "Wisdom of the Oracle" deck by Collette Baron-Reid. I've taken this deck with me on countless journeys all over the world, and it has been by my side during readings with thousands of clients.

Why do I love the "Wisdom of the Oracle" deck so much? It's not just about the stunning artwork and the high-quality cards; it's the deep and profound messages they convey. Each card in this deck carries a unique energy that resonates deeply with both the reader and the seeker. Collette Baron-Reid has a remarkable gift for infusing her decks with wisdom and guidance that touches the heart and soul.

What exactly are Oracle cards? Unlike Tarot cards, which follow a structured system with 78 cards, Oracle cards are more free-flowing and flexible. They typically come in various themes, and each deck contains a set of cards with images and messages that offer insight into different aspects of life, spirituality, and self-discovery. Oracle cards are not bound by traditional interpretations, allowing the user to tap into their intuition and connect with divine guidance in a personal and unique way.

Using Oracle cards is a beautiful and simple process. Here's how I incorporate them into my practice:

  • Clearing the Deck: Before every reading, I take a moment to clear the energy of the cards. I do this by shuffling them and setting an intention that the messages received are for the highest good of all.

  • Asking a Question: If I have a specific question in mind, I focus on it while shuffling the deck. However, Oracle cards are also great for general guidance and insights when you're open to whatever message the universe has for you.

  • Drawing the cards: I intuitively select cards from the deck, either by fanning them out and picking with my non-dominant hand or using a more structured spread like a three-card spread for past, present, and future insights.

  • Interpretation: The magic begins as I turn over the cards and connect with the images and messages they convey. I let my intuition guide me in understanding the meanings and how they apply to the seeker's situation.

  • Trusting the Process: The beauty of Oracle cards lies in their ability to provide messages that may not always seem obvious at first glance. Trusting the process and letting go of expectations allows profound wisdom to unfold.

The "Wisdom of the Oracle" deck has been a true friend throughout my journey, helping me gain clarity, validation, and inspiration when I needed it the most. I encourage you to explore different Oracle decks and find one that resonates with your soul. Each deck carries its unique energy and wisdom, waiting to offer guidance and support on your path of growth and empowerment.

Some other decks that I use often are Sacred Rebel Deck and Kuan Yin Oracle, both by Alana Fairchild. Her decks are stunningly beautiful and each card includes a message, a meditation, and some tools for working with the message. Tess Whitehurst also has several decks that are lovely to work with.

Whether you're new to Oracle cards or a seasoned enthusiast, they can be a wonderful addition to your spiritual toolbox. Take some time to connect with the cards, let your intuition be your guide, and embrace the wisdom they have to share.

If you're curious to dive deeper into the world of Oracle cards or have questions about readings, I'm here to be your guide. Feel free to reach out, and I'll be more than happy to assist you on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

Introduction to Intuition: Trusting Your Inner Guidance

August is the stepping stone to fall, a bridge to cool mornings, colored leaves, and cozy sweaters. I love Fall. I adore everything it brings and want the entire year to feel like Halloween. Living in the Mystical Magical Mansion and experiencing Halloween in our historic neighborhood has fed my heart's desire for Halloween even more. It’s amazing how a place can be just what you have always wanted, and it’s because I trusted my intuition. The first time I saw our house online, I knew it was where we needed to live. It was completely divinely guided.

Do you trust your intuition? Do you follow those feelings that you can’t ignore? Or do you doubt yourself and then later wonder what magical experiences you might have missed because of fear or “common sense.” If you seek a life filled with synchronicity and wonder, you’re not alone. I too aspire to such a life.

I have been nurturing my intuitive gifts for years and it is now second nature, but I had to start somewhere. I took courses, read books, and searched high and low for mentors that felt honest and down to earth. My background is in science and medicine so I am skeptical and many of the people in the metaphysical world at that time felt a bit more into the showmanship of intuitive work than the nuts and bolts of teaching others how to use their abilities.

I want to help you to trust your intuition. You are intuitive. You have psychic abilities whether you believe it or not. From a purely scientific perspective, we are beings made of millions of electrically charged particles. We are energy. Those particles have origins in the stars in our galaxy. The calcium in our bones, the iron in our blood, and the sodium in our plasma came from the cosmos. We are light and we are magical and we are all incredibly special. Why wouldn’t we have magical abilities if we are made of energy and stardust?

So where do we begin? How do you start to trust your intuition?

  • Set an intention. Why do you want to do intuitive work? What is it that is drawing you to this path? When you can get clarity it puts down a metaphoric point on the map that you can navigate from. Perhaps you have felt lost in your career or your love life. Maybe you want to find a new job or the best city for your life to flourish. Write it down and answer this question-What do I want now? How can my intuition help me to bring this to fruition?

  • Take an inventory. Write down specific moments that you felt you had an intuitive experience. List the times you had a hunch or you got a call just when you needed it. Maybe you had a hunch about something and it turned out to be the best decision you ever made. Be playful and let your memory flow. Your life may already contain more magical moments than you realize.

  • Develop a meditation practice. If you were dating someone you would probably want to spend some time alone with them, a quiet place where you could talk. Treat your inner voice like a new lover. Be quiet, listen, feel, and get to know it. It is here for you and if you get still it will be your best and most loyal friend. I meditate every morning, even if it is just for a few minutes. It brings me clarity and during that meditation, I set the intention that the work that I do that day be for the highest good of all. I ask for information and wisdom to come to me in a way that is of service.

  • Listen. In a time when we are bombarded with information, we have become bad at listening. Your intuitive voice may have been screaming at you for years and you have ignored it, so now you have to learn to listen. Your intuition will come when you are the observer of your reactions and your feelings. During your meditation, take a moment to get still and notice what you hear. It may be nothing or you may hear your chatty mind running through lists of to-do’s or nonsense. Get quiet and listen. It’s in the pauses between your busy thoughts that intuition will begin to emerge.

  • Trust your gut. When something stressful happens do you get a gut feeling? When you meet someone and immediately feel they are not a good person, do you feel it in your stomach? That is your empathic sense. It is nature and energy and protective. It is part of your intuitive abilities and it will not mislead you. Notice how often you listen to your first sensations or gut feelings about people or situations and if you override those feelings. Also, notice if some specific places or activities bring those intense gut feelings and journal about them. Over time you may see patterns that emerge and you can begin to trust those empathic sensations more naturally.

  • Keep a magic journal. Write down all of the little synchronicities, signs, beautiful connections, or weird things that happen in your life. You thought of someone and they called. You felt the presence of a loved one who has passed and their favorite song came on the radio. You weren't sure which turn to take in an unfamiliar town and magically your car drove write to a store that had the perfect gift for a friend that is struggling. Write it all down. Magic is happening all around you and when you start to appreciate how much your intuition is available to you, it feels easy.

  • It doesn’t happen the way you think it does. We, humans, have a hard time letting things unfold slowly. We like immediate results. Working with your intuition will unfold in divine timing and in a way that is best for your soul. You may think you want to be the world's best psychic and become rich and famous for doing readings. You can do that, but it probably won't happen overnight. Give yourself time. Make it playful and joyful. Be of service. Be curious and when something amazing happens say thank you.

  • Gratitude is the key. After all these years of doing intuitive work, there are still moments when I am shocked and mystified. I love those moments. When they do I say thank you to my angels, my guides, my helping energies and I am grateful. We, humans, get to be here and to experience this lifetime. It is a gift. If you do nothing else to nurture your intuition, start and end your day with gratitude. Make a list, write it in your journal, go through it as you do your chores, but do it! Gratitude shifts our energy and opens us up to even more positive experiences. Being in a positive open state allows our intuitive energy to flourish and expand.

  • Make it playful. Intuitive energy is childlike and easy. Let it emerge in times of ease and happiness. Dance, go out into nature, and walk on a path that feels nurturing to your energy. I love walking with my three-year-old granddaughter. She is amazed by sticks and leaves and calls them her treasures. I agree with her assessment that there is wonder everywhere around us and intuitive or energetic work should be playful and curious. Adults can complicate things far too much, so keep it fun!

  • You don’t have to do anything with it. One of the most frequent questions I am asked, is “Now what do I do with it?” Once you start to tap in and allow your intuitive gifts to grow and become a more regular part of yourself what do you do? Many people are looking for a way to monetize their abilities. Many are insecure about sharing the messages they are receiving. Ask your guides, your angels, or your intuitive self, and let it move you in the direction that is alignment with your highest good. If you feel guided to start doing readings, do it with friends and let it be fun. When we begin to trust that we are in service, or are in alignment with our intuition it tends to unfold easily. It may not look like what you had imagined, but in time it will all make sense.

There is no exact order or specific way to work with your intuitive abilities, but these tools can and have helped many. I am always here as a resource and I am grateful to have done intuitive readings or Reiki with many of you. If I can help you along the way, I am happy to be your guide.

Hugs,

Kim Isherwood
